This I Believe Pre-Writing

Today in class we continued to prepare for the This I Believe essays that we began to work on at the end of last week and will write this week. We started the day with some writing from these personal writing prompts.

We went over our A Raisin in the Sun tests.

Then we spent some time reading and listening to some essays and completing an active listenings on the essays. This does not need to be made up.

Finally, we took a look at these brainstorming questions. This assignment is optional. If you would like to be better prepared for your paper (and would like to pad your grade with some easy points), have this handout back to me tomorrow.
