MLK vs. Malcolm X

Yesterday I was absent and we had a sub. Apparently the sub didn't have you all doing much of anything. Many people finished reading the third and final act of A Raisin in the Sun.

Today in class we quizzed over act II of the play. Tomorrow we'll quiz over act III. We spend some time analyzing the different perspectives and ideas of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X by reading and watching some speeches. If you were absent, be sure to get this work from the make up work folder and turn it in.

Tomorrow we'll quiz over act III of A Raisin in the Sun and we'll write essays for the district final. This is part of your final in this class, so be sure to be well rested and ready to write.
